Issue 04, Ibidem
Ibidem is the fourth issue of OBRA, created in collaboration with the artist duo ASMA. Positioned between a magazine and an artist’s book, this experimental, collectible object offers a portable archive of ASMA’s recent research and exhibitions.
The edition combines fragmented citations, imagery, and ephemera drawn from ASMA’s four latest presentations: Wander & Pursuit (2022), Inverse Sátiro Envy (2023), Blind Sun Rests in Desire (2023), and Ideal Space for Music (2024).
This edition includes: four booklets (total of 160 pages) and 19 pieces of ephemera, enclosed in a custom-made PVC case with black screen print (A4 size).
Ibidem was launched at SculptureCenter (NYC), where ASMA presented their solo exhibition, followed by a second launch in PEANA (Mexico City).
